About The Exchange Food Hall

Located at 211 S Akard St, Dallas, TX 75202, The Exchange Food Hall operates as an american restaurant serving Dallas in Texas. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 7 am–9 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (214) 464-8101. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is theexchangehall.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Customers rate it 4.5 out of 5 on Google across 1,545 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded american restaurants in Dallas.

Dallas is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Traffic in Dallas peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Sick visit to Dallas on Saturday--our crew from Pittsburgh, Mexico City, and Caracas--for the buy/sell/trade SwapCon. My new regular hat's from the 'Live With Purpose' booth, and my guys picked up some vintage threads and accessories. Beers purchased at The Exchange Food Hall can be enjoyed outside in plastic cups, within the geographic boundaries of the foot-traffic plaza. Posting a video of a group of guys who rocked Lovers and Friends as it spilled fromthe loudspeakers after being slung by the DJ.

I was impressed by the mix of food vendors, offering plenty of options to explore in one visit. The taco shop served amazing churros with a crisp outside and soft, sweet center. Their tater tots were perfectly golden and crunchy, making a great side. Every bite was flavorful and fresh, which made the experience even better. This food hall delivered on both quality and variety, making it a place I'd happily recommend to anyone who enjoys trying different foods.

Beautiful place to stop breath and eat with a amazing eatout court yard and beautful indoor food court. Lots of securiry inside and out keeps the transits out and from sleeping in the court yard. Great place to.meet and great or come after churxh or have meetings at. 2 thumbs up!

Lots of great food options! You can please everybody in the group. BBQ place is great and great service. Mediterranean place is also very good and very nice. Crepe place is good but service could be better (everyone working there was very young though). And now that the weather's nice and they open the doors and you can go out on the lawn. It's just a great stop to get food and unwind in the early evening.

I am in Dallas working a conference. We decide to walk to the food hall for something different. What a surprise. A food hall in the city open late with a good variety of food options. I had an excellent Cheese Steak from one restaurant and Clam Chowder from another. One person had Curry Chicken and yet another had tacos from around the world, getting tacos from 3 different restaurants. It was after 8pm so it wasn't very busy. There was a lot a security around, I guess for helping keep dinners safe. We didn't have any issues but it was noticeable. We finished off our meals with ice cream that was very good.
